Terms and Conditions
Current terms governing customer accounts, reservations, payments, cancellations and cleaning services.
Version 1.0.0 · Effective 2026-09-01
1. Platform and contracting parties
JDR Cleaning Services accepts customer accounts, cleaning-service reservations and secure payments. Cleaning services only. Maintenance and laundry services are not offered; repair, handyman and construction work are excluded.
Submitting a reservation is a request for service. An appointment is not confirmed until the operating service provider accepts the requested date, scope and price.
JDR Cleaning Services is operated by an independent service provider. This platform manages customer accounts, cleaning reservations and payments.
Service-provider legal name and contact details require final business and legal review before payment activation.
2. Customer eligibility
To request services through the platform, the customer must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have legal authority to request services at the property
- Provide accurate contact and property information
- Obtain permission from the property owner when applicable
3. Description and scope of requested services
The platform offers cleaning services only: Standard Cleaning, Deep Cleaning, Office or Commercial Cleaning, Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning and Post-Construction Cleaning. Each reservation must clearly show what is and is not included in the selected cleaning service. Service descriptions, exclusions, estimated prices and durations are shown during booking.
Maintenance, laundry, repair, handyman, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, structural, construction, gas, pool and other regulated work is not offered and is expressly excluded from every reservation.
4. Property owner presence and mandatory supervision
During booking, the customer must answer: “Will the account holder or property owner be present for the entire service appointment?”
If the answer is “Yes,” the account holder or property owner becomes the responsible onsite person. If the answer is “No,” the customer must designate an onsite supervisor before the reservation can be completed.
The designated supervisor must be at least 18 years old, be present when the team arrives, remain reasonably available during the service, have authorization to provide access, have authority to answer questions and approve decisions within the existing order, and provide a full name and telephone number.
If neither person is present at the scheduled arrival time, the appointment is marked “Unable to Perform — No Authorized Person Present.” In that situation:
- No work will begin
- 20% of the scheduled service payment is retained as an access, scheduling, and dispatch charge
- The remaining 80% is eligible for refund
- The customer must create or approve a new reservation to reschedule
- Any exception must be documented and approved in writing by JDR before the service
No service will begin unless the account holder/property owner or the designated adult supervisor is present and available at the property. No exceptions.
5. Property access and preparation
The customer is responsible for:
- Providing safe and lawful access
- Disclosing access instructions
- Securing pets
- Identifying fragile or valuable items
- Disclosing cameras or monitoring devices where required by law
- Providing functioning water and electricity when necessary
- Removing weapons, illegal substances, dangerous objects, and hazardous materials from work areas
- Informing the provider about known hazards
- Disclosing any allergies or sensitivities to cleaning products, chemicals, fragrances or ingredients before the service, so that products can be adjusted or the service declined when a safe alternative is not available
- Keeping children and unauthorized individuals away from hazardous work areas
6. Customer and employee safety
The platform operates a zero-tolerance safety policy. Services may be refused, paused, or terminated when there is:
- Threatening, abusive, discriminatory, or sexually inappropriate behavior
- Harassment of customers or workers
- Unsafe property conditions
- Dangerous or uncontrolled animals
- Suspected illegal activity
- Weapons or hazardous substances in the work area
- Requests to perform unapproved or unlicensed work
- A reasonable concern for the safety of any customer, worker, supervisor, or third party
Safety incidents are documented in an internal incident record. Emergencies must be directed to 911 or the appropriate emergency authority — this platform is not an emergency service.
7. Estimates, prices, and additional work
Prices shown before confirmation are estimates. Any adjustment must be disclosed and approved before additional work begins.
- The customer must review the selected service and price before confirming
- Additional work requires customer approval
- Unapproved services are not charged
- Material costs may require separate authorization
- Images and descriptions submitted by the customer help estimate the work but may not reveal every condition
- Any price adjustment must be shown and approved before additional work begins
8. Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policy
Refund rules
- Provider cancellation without an acceptable alternative time: 100% refund
- Customer cancellation 24 hours or more before the appointment: 100% refund
- Customer cancellation between 12 and 24 hours before the appointment: 80% refund, 20% retained as a late-cancellation charge
